Thank the stars for professionals in the renovation industry, for they are the gems devoted to giving existing structures a second life. Such is the case with today’s professional, Prestige Architects Ltd. Located in London, Prestige Architects has been at the forefront of architectural excellence since it was first established back in 2009 by founder and head designer, Marco Braghiroli. Born with a passion for excellence, Marco gained the necessary architectural knowledge at the Politecnico of Milan before starting his impressive career.

Thus, it is thanks to him that Prestige Architects has increased the numbers of top-notch residential designs across London, as well as in the rest of the UK and abroad.

Let’s get inspired today by looking back at four of this architectural company’s luxury / classic home renovations that have, undoubtedly, complemented the property listings in The Capital.

1. The Chelsea Maisonette

Providing a not-too-shabby area layout of 160 m², this renovation piece flaunts a sparkling new outlook on life complete with all the required finishes and glitter.

Beach-hued timber floors lead us through the spacious living room with creative finishes such as that dazzling mirror) and first-rate lighting fixtures. But don’t overlook the dashing wardrobe designs in the bedrooms that add character and quality while also upping this apartment's storage capacity.

2. The Chelsea House

For the next number on our list, we retreat to a Grade ll listed building that underwent a full renovation. 160 m² is also its interior layout size, yet that’s where the similarities between this piece and the first on our list end – visually, each project enjoys its own unique look and ambience.

Take the kitchen, for instance. One almost picks up an elegant country vibe with those wooden floorboards and charming cabinet designs. And the living room flaunts an almost monochrome-like look with its pale walls and ceiling that contrast delightfully with the darker, warmer wooden flooring.

Of course we can't overlook the rich amount of natural light streaming indoors just about everywhere, brilliantly illuminating the interiors while also making select finishes (such as hardware) positively shine with style.

3. The Kensington Apartment

On to Kensington, where the client requested a full-out refurbishment of his two-bedroom apartment in a listed building. Interestingly, Prestige Architects not only took on the renovation process, but also managed additional factors like obtaining listed building consent to ensure perfect quality from start to finish.

Coming in at 80 m², this property might be smaller than the previous two, yet it certainly doesn’t hold back in terms of visual aesthetics or functionality. Some of the new touches included for this project are bespoke timber floors (in a parquet design, coated up in a delicious dark brown to add some bold character to spaces like the bedroom and living area), joinery, as well as a brand-new kitchen and bathrooms.

4. The Bachelor Pad in Hyde Park

The glitz and glamour is upgraded fantastically for the last project on our list, which is a 70 m² London apartment also located within a Grade ll listed building.

An enticing mixture of modern- and classic furnishings and decorations ensure a unique look, yet this is enhanced spectacularly via unforgettable lighting fixtures, as can be seen in the open-plan living room and bedroom.

In fact, the professionals did such a fantastic job on this project that it was shortlisted for the International Design Awards 2016 and SBID Awards 2016 and 2017!

Now on to something a bit flashier (and bigger)… let’s discover The brilliance of the Bosphorus City Villa by Sia Moore
